Michelle’s recommendation: ‘I blazed through the Spanish series Valeria. The show is set in buzzing Madrid, where things are going anything but smoothly for writer Valeria. Her relationship with her husband Adrian has long since lost its spark, and when a new man named Victor enters her life, her whole world is turned upside down. It’s a story about an unsuccessful author, her love life and her likeable friends. The fashion and the beautiful squares of Madrid, with its cafés, bars and stylish residential areas, are truly inspiring.’

Olivia’s recommendation:Bridgerton had me hooked from the get-go. The show takes you on a journey to sophisticated London during the Regency era, where perfect outfits and a good match were more important than genuine feelings and true love. Despite this, the main character, Daphne, hopes to only tie the knot with her true love. You’ll have to watch it yourself to find out if she succeeds! 😉 But one thing is for sure: this TV series promises love, rumours and even more love.’

Jana’s recommendation: ‘I recommend the series Sex Education, which I totally binge-watched. I was absolutely over the moon when season 3 finally came out in October. This show is absolutely hilarious, with plenty of embarrassing moments but also deeply thought-provoking scenes. I highly recommend it to anyone who just wants to switch off and go back to their teenage years for a little while – the difficult years of adolescence.’

Michael’s recommendation: ‘I’m not really the hugest fan of TV – I much prefer to spend my free time with my family in the great outdoors. But one exception was Netflix’s cult series The Queen’s Gambit. I became aware of the show because the protagonist, played by Anya Taylor-Joy, wore a top from the Etudes Toujours line in a longer scene. I was hooked after a few episodes. It’s a very touching story about a young girl in an orphanage with an amazing talent for chess and her path to success. A fine example of how thin the line between genius and madness can sometimes be.’
