Our certifications
Cradle to Cradle Certified®
Cradle to Cradle Certified® confirms that the products certified with the international product standard are circular. In this way, raw materials are used rather than wasted wherever possible and are demonstrably free from toxic substances. If Cradle to Cradle Certified® products have reached the end of their life, they can be returned to CALIDA for recycling and reintroduction into the cycle or returned to a CALIDA shop.
MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX®
In 2016, CALIDA was the first underwear brand in the world to introduce the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® label. The product label is not only awarded according to strict social and ecological criteria, but also states that the textiles in question have been tested for harmful substances. Articles bearing the label can be transparently traced using a unique product ID or QR code.
ECONYL®
ECONYL® is a particularly smooth, soft and skin-caressing material made completely of recycled nylon that was produced from old fishing nets, rugs and scraps of material. Or from itself: That’s because ECONYL® can be recycled countless times within the context of a circular economy. The quality of ECONYL® is just as good as the quality of traditionally produced nylon, but infinitely better for the environment.
