With the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label, you not only see what you are wearing, but also what is behind it.

There are many different steps that lead to a finished CALIDA product, including many sourcing processes. With the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label, you can get 100% transparency when it comes to your product’s production: every item awarded the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label has an individual product ID and a QR code that enables you to trace the product all the way back to its origins. The product ID details all the various production steps, the origins of the material and the countries where the items were made. It will also show you the challenges of manufacturing textiles using ecologically sound products, fair factory working conditions and environmentally friendly production technology.

OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN makes it possible to trace the supply chain via the QR code.

What does the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label mean?

CALIDA is the first underwear brand worldwide to use the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label. It is one of the most transparent and stringent labels currently available, and it allows consumers to trace production details all the way along the delivery chain and back to the raw materials.

More specifically, this means that products are made:

  • using materials tested for harmful substances

  • in environmentally-friendly facilities

  • in safe and socially responsible workplaces

The OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label now certifies not only the entire children's collection, but also an ever-increasing number of women's and men's lines.
